Caffe Artigiano
After several years of expansion, Caffè Artigiano found itself struggling with the aggressive expansion strategy a previous owner had taken. The business went into a receivership and needed additional working capital to invest in upgrading systems, improve products and restructure the business. In 2019, Knightsbridge acquired the business outright. A year following acquisition, the covid-19 pandemic and resulting impacts of government mandates made the battle back for this business even more challenging. In 2024, the business now finds itself thriving once again with a refreshed brand, and a renewed commitment to building truly community driven cafes fuelled with the best locally roasted coffee in Vancouver. The business is actively expanding, now with more than 22 locations and growing quickly.
Six Five Sports & Entertainment
SixFive is a diversified global football investment fund seeking investments in high growth markets, under managed European clubs, and distressed or turnaround opportunities. We intend to drive growth in these investments through creating a unique global network and driving income through ancillary opportunities around the sport of football and fan engagement. Our investments will include professional sports teams of all levels, infrastructure and development, and assets in memorabilia and enhancing the fan experience with sports.
Our mission is to establish a diversified global portfolio of professional football teams with the focus around the international player pathway and investing in the development of the youth in our core markets. We seek to create the same infrastructure for both the men’s and women’s game, and to be part of the journey toward increasing Canada’s relevance among the football world.
