Job Title: SVP, Business Development

Location: Vancouver

The Role:

Knightsbridge Capital is seeking a quality professional to assist with managing and expanding debt businesses, including Maynbridge Capital, Knightsbridge Property Finance, and KapX Equipment Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the business development across financing platforms. This will include managing a team of salespeople, sourcing new business relationships, creating appropriate sales processes & channels, and expanding brand awareness across Canada.

We are seeking highly motivated, outside the box-thinking individuals with a proven track record in sales and business management. They will have financial analysis skills and able to see the big picture, while always being able to operate with a client-centric perspective. This role will work closely with risk and senior management. Previous experience in a similar capacity is required. The successful individual will be key in supporting our unique corporate growth environment internationally.

The role will include the following duties:

·       Prospect, build, and maintain a book of clients.

·       Manage an expanding team of Territory Managers.

·       Proactively manage and analyze sales activities across the business.

·       Exceed targets with a minimum annual individual and team budgets.

·       Support the sales team in prompt analysis of new investment opportunities.

·       Manage reporting and transaction management with the credit committee.

·       Develop and maintain reporting on key portfolio metrics.

·       Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory training and be personally responsible for compliance with all such programs.

Compensation:

Requirements:

·       Progressive commercial lending sales experience at a senior level

·       Credit /risk management experience an asset

·       Post-secondary business degree required

·       Proven track record and seen as a problem solver by clients/peers/supervisors

·       Clear understanding of customer service, consideration of client needs and ability to exceed client expectations

The Role:

Maynbridge Capital is seeking a quality sales professional to establish new client relationships within the designated territory of Central Canada (Ontario). The successful candidate will seek financing opportunities in which the company will participate, analyze debt structure on clients’ balance sheets, and recommend proactive solutions that best suit client interests.

We are seeking self-starters who are motivated and passionate about assisting their clients and who are able to offer insightful advice on a regular basis. Previous experience and an existing network within the banking and insolvency community is an asset. Our unique corporate philosophy will provide you with a less bureaucratic environment and will enable you to achieve significant business results in a more timely and productive manner.

The role is supported through a host of professionals to ensure timely processing of applications, documentation, and funding of transactions and will include the following duties:
